The FJS team recently completed a large fit-out in the exceptional Carton House estate. The second phase of this project consisted of several extensive areas undergoing refurbishment.
The first area in which we provided our expertise was the pro shop. We manufactured open shelving and added storage options within this area using the highest quality dark oak veneer. We also added LED inlays to allow for merchandise to be illuminated for customer satisfaction.
Next up was the large, open-plan reception area. Both the ceiling and wall panelling were handcrafted by our team using fire-resistant MDF. Our team also added bespoke solid oak reeded columns, which feature brass details and trims, perfectly complimenting the rest of the décor.
We then completed the main bar area, with the addition of bespoke MDF planters. Each planter was hand painted by our skilled painters on-site. Impressive features of the bar itself include antique brass mesh and bevelled antique brass mirror, allowing for a warm, classical feel. This area is also a fully wheelchair-accessible hatch system.
Next, the Hex bar was designed and fit by our team. Similar to the previous bar, the use of aged brass and stained oak is prevalent. These materials were used to manufacture an extensive wine rack and cigar display. This cigar display features a custom cedar humidor, ensuring that each cigar is insulated and free of humidity, allowing for maintenance of cigars for many years.
Bringing a close to our second phase of this job was the fit out of Kathleens’ kitchen. Within this section, we supplied and fit a retail counter and coffee dock which is finished with a marble worktop for extra durability. Additionally, we fit a large island, fit with similar marble worktops and splashbacks, allowing for a large working area for staff to use.
Another high-quality fit-out from our team using the highest quality materials. It gives us great pride to produce bespoke pieces such as these to meet the needs of customers.
